# Speaker requirements

Thank you for inviting me to your event. To create the best experience, this resource includes important information about what it's like to work together. – AM.

## 🎤 AV

- Alicia will introduce herself to AV and make the tech-check easy.
- Alicia prefers a handheld microphone for audio quality and ease.
- Alicia will often present *without* slides, or with just a simple background.
- If Alicia does use slides, she will bring her own laptop (MacBook Pro) and clicker. **Her** **presentations do not run on any computer but hers**.
- Alicia's computer must be at the front of the room with her, where she can access it. Having it on a low table rather than a podium works best.
- Please ensure a roving or delegate microphone is available in the room.u.

## 🪑Room setup

Banquet tables are always the preferred room layout. We understand this won't always be possible, especially for large events. Alicia will need:

- An HDMI input (own laptop)
- A whiteboard (for masterclasses and workshops only.)
- Water on stage.

## ⏱️ Timing

- Alicia's sessions always run to time.
- Alicia is flexible and modifies her session length if your event runs behind.

## 👖Alicia's style

- Alicia is famously casual: she often arrives in t-shirt and jeans. If your environment requires professional dress, she happily suits up. Just let us know.
- Alicia sometimes swears. If this isn't cool with your audience, notify us beforehand.

## 💻 Slides and IP

- Alicia doesn’t convert slides to anyone’s templates.
- Alicia’s slide deck is not available for download or to publish as a handout.
- Alicia owns and retains all rights to her materials and content. Always. They cannot be reproduced or distributed.

## 📸 Photos and video

- You have full permission to record Alicia’s keynotes and workshops - and share them widely!
- If you take photos or videos, share these freely on social media, tag Alicia in, and make sure to pop us a copy through at [info@aliciamckay.co.nz](mailto:info@aliciamckay.co.nz)
- Alicia has the right to record and/or photograph the session and use photos online or in print.

## 📧 After the event

- We can send a brief email after the event with additional resources. If this would be valuable, provide your attendee list or an email for distribution.
- We love reading event feedback - forward it on.
- We will ask you for a testimonial at the end of the event and deeply value your words and effort. This is what keeps the business running!
