Are you interested in a free workshop on Councillor induction?
With elections in NSW and VIC over the next couple of months, induction is on everyone's minds. Most inductions go a bit like this: "You're going to jail if you do any of these 200 things. Let's examine the legislation, followed by the standing orders."
Then, we wonder why our Councillors aren't strategic, effective, positive leaders! I think there's a better way.
I'd love to share some of the findings from my research in Local Legends and my work with Councillors across NZ and Australia, and invite your thoughts on how we can offer a more positive induction experience that sets the scene for strong relationships and strategic leadership.
