🎄
Welcome to 24 Days of Unpopular Opinions. In this series, enjoy an advent calendar of daily hot takes to help you get through the silly season.

People with happy families are no better than people with:

  • No family or close enough to it
  • A toxic family who feel bad to be around
  • An estranged family with people you don't talk to
  • A mediocre family with people you don't really like in it.

You don't get to pick your family, so you don't get points for having a good one.

Merry Christmas.
